The 10 games of the Matchday 38, the final matchday of the 2016-17 Premier League season, drew an average attendance of 38,048 spectators per game, for an average fill rate of 98%, on 21/05/2017. The attendance of the 2016-17 Premier League season reached 35,819 spectators per game (average fill rate: 96%).

Manchester United - Crystal Palace (2-0) posted the best mark on Sunday, with 75,254 spectators at Old Trafford (75,643 capacity, fill rate: 99.5%). Manchester United drew a minimum of 75,200 spectators in each of their 19 home games of the 2016-17 season.

Five games drew more than 30,000 spectators on Matchday 38, and all games had a fill rate of at least 95%.

  • The 20 Premier League clubs drew an average of 36,409 spectators per game in 2015-16.
