Matchday 38, the final matchday of the 2016-17 LaLiga Santander season, drew an average of 28,866 spectators per game, with an average stadium fill rate of 70%, from 19 to 21/05/2017. The average attendance of the Spanish league reached 28,109 spectators per game in 2016-17 (average fill rate: 74%).

FC Barcelona - SD Eibar (4-2) recorded the highest attendance of Matchday 38, with 88,268 spectators at the Camp Nou (fill rate: 88%).

Three games of Matchday 38 drew more than 30,000 spectators, and four of ten matches exceeded a 75% fill rate.
