The Chinese company Ping An (bank and insurance) has extended as the title sponsor of the CSL for five additional seasons, announced the Chinese professional football league on 22/05/2017. This partnership, which is in the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the league, covers the 2018 to 2022 seasons inclusive, for a total amount of 1bn yuan (€129.7m on 22/05/2017), or 200m yuan (€25.8m) per season.

Ping An has been the title sponsor of the CSL since the 2014 season, initially until the end of the 2017 season, for 600m yuan (€77.5m), or 150m yuan per season (€19.4m). The new contract therefore represents an increase of 33.3% per season.

"This partnership, in addition to being the most important commercial contract in CSL history, makes Ping An the title partner with the greatest longevity in the history of the league," said the Chinese Super League.
