Novak Djokovic has become the "global ambassador" of the French clothing brand Lacoste on 22/05/2017, the 30th birthday of the Serbian tennis player. As part of the partnership, Lacoste will supply Novak Djokovic's sporting (non-footwear) and lifestyle wear, starting with the 2017 French Grand Slam tournament at Roland-Garros (Paris, FRA, from 28/05 to 11/06/2017).

Lacoste will offer a line of sports clothes dedicated to Novak Djokovic, with the logo of the Serbian player's own brand on the left sleeve of the polo shirts and jackets of the collection. The line also includes lifestyle clothing and accessories, such as "René Magnet" sunglasses, "the first Lacoste sunglasses made for tennis practice," said the brand. The collection has been marketed in Lacoste shops since 23/05/2017.

The initial duration of the contract between Lacoste and Novak Djokovic will be five years (until May 2022) and the financial allocation could be less than €30m, according to French and British media. The player was the ambassador of Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo since 2012, on a five-year contract…
