Lega Serie A: tender document for the TV rights to the 2018-2021 Serie A TIM (document in Italian)

The Lega Serie A has published the tender document for the centralised sale of the domestic TV rights to the 2018-2021 cycle of the Serie A TIM, on 26/05/2017. This tender includes five exclusive lots, distributed according to several broadcasting modes and platforms (satellite, DTT, and/or digital platforms), with one lot comprising all platforms. The cumulative sum of the floor price of all these exclusive lots is €1bn.

The Italian telecommunications regulatory authority had approved the regulations "for the centralised sale of the TV rights to the Serie A TIM for the 2018-2021 cycle," on 18/05/2017. The Lega Serie A had established the regulations for the sale of the TV rights to the Serie A TIM for this period, and forwarded the guidelines to the regulatory body, which had 60 days to validate them, on 29/03/2017.
