Ligue 1 Conforama: uhlsport and LFP present "Elysia", the official ball of the 2017-18 season

The German sports equipment manufacturer uhlsport and the LFP presented "Elysia", the official ball of the Ligue 1 Conforama for the 2017-18 season, on 29/05/2017. The ball, whose main colour would be white and secondary colours would be grey and yellow, will be used from Matchday 1 of the 2017-18 season, scheduled on 04, 05, and 06/08/2017 (the full calendar of the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama season will be confirmed and presented by the French Professional Football League on 15/06/2017).

"Elysia is the epitome of the technological know-how of uhlsport. It has a double reference to the mythology of the Champs-Élysées "reserved for virtuous men and heroes", and a place to celebrate French victories. The ball possesses an exclusive and innovative design specially developed for the Ligue 1 Conforama," said the LFP.

"In addition, the heat-sealing technology ensures perfect roundness and extremely low water absorption, and the outer coating is highly resistant to abrasion. The unique construction of the ball provides exceptional trajectory performance," added the LFP.
