Women's Champions League: O. Lyon - PSG, a 100% French final in Cardiff on 01/06/2017

Olympique Lyonnais - Paris Saint-Germain (both clubs in Division 1 in French women's football) will be a 100% French match at the 2017 women's Champions League final at the Cardiff City Stadium (33,000 capacity) in Cardiff, Wales, on Thursday, 01/06/2017 (kick-off at 19:45 BST, 20:45 CET).

The Cardiff City stadium, inaugurated in 2009, hosted the 2014 European Super Cup (Real Madrid CF - Sevilla FC, 2-0). The venue also hosts Welsh international football matches, rugby matches, and concerts.

The defending champions Olympique Lyonnais will play in their sixth final (a record high) since the inception of the Women's Champions League competition in 2009-10 (see list below). PSG have reached the final for the second time.

The women's final is scheduled two days before the men's final of the Champions League, between Juventus (Serie A TIM) and Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander), at the Principality Stadium (74,500 capacity) in Cardiff, on Saturday, 03/06/2017 (kick-off at 19:45 BST, 20:45 CET).
