West Bromwich Albion: adidas extends deal until 2017-18, Palm (ecology) becomes new shirt sponsor

Palm, a Chinese company specialising in ecological urban development and the creation of eco-neighbourhoods, has become a main partner and the shirt sponsor of West Bromwich Albion FC (Premier League) on 24/05/2017. This partnership, in the first level of the club's sponsorship hierarchy, will run until the end of the 2017-18 season, so only a duration of one year. Palm succeeds UK-K8.com (online casino), a main partner and the shirt sponsor of WBA during the 2016-17 season. UK-K8 paid an amount estimated at over £5m for the season (€5.8m on 30/05/2017) according to British media.

"The partnership will enable Palm to capitalise on the global power of the Premier League and their sponsorship of Albion will drive brand awareness around the world. The sponsorship will help the Club build stronger links in the Chinese market, developing the Albion brand and drive commercial growth in Asia," said the club.
