Media: Eurosport acquires domestic and international rights to women's Bundesliga

European pay-TV channel Eurosport has acquires domestic and international rights to women's Bundesliga, several sources announced, on the 29/08/2013.

Eurosport bought the rights from the DFB (Deutscher Fussball Bund, the German Football Association). The contract covers the 2013/14 to 2015/16 seasons.

The TV channel will broadcast at least one fixture from each of the 22 days of the German championship. Eurosport will broadcast the competition in HD in all its 54 markets in Europe - including Germany - and its 17 territories in Asia-Pacific.

The 2013/14 women's Bundesliga season begins on the 07/09/2013. Eurosport will start its broadcasts with VfL Wolfsburg - FC Bayern Munich fixture, on the same day at 12.45 pm.
