Cycling: first edition of the Hammer Series (Infront and Velon) broadcast on Facebook and YouTube

The first edition of the Hammer Series, taking place in Limburg, Netherlands (01 to 04/06/2017), will be broadcast via the live streaming video service Facebook Live and the video sharing platform YouTube, stated Velon, a joint venture between 10 teams of the UCI World Tour, on 25/05/2017.

The competitions will be available on the Facebook page of the Hammer Series (www.facebook.com/hammerseries) and shared on the Facebook pages of the 12 UCI WorldTour and the four UCI Continental Pro (second level) teams participating in the competition (see below). The Facebook sports page (www.facebook.com/sportsonfb) will also offer the event. The YouTube channel specialising in cycling, GCN (Global Cycling Network), will also broadcast the Hammers Series of Limburg (www.youtube.com/GCN).

Infront Sports & Media and Velon launched a new format for cycling races, the Hammer Series, on 01/03/2017. "This format should include other stages in the coming seasons," said Infront, the agency in charge of the marketing, the media rights, the sponsorship of these races.
