Premier League: PPTV sells connected TVs in China in the colours of Liverpool FC

PPTV (Suning Group), a Chinese internet and mobile streaming platform, has produced and begun selling 5,000 limited edition connected TVs in China, the PPTV 65T2 model, in the colours of Liverpool FC (Premier League), on 20/05/2017. The PPTV 65T2 model features a completely red back cover with the crest and motto of the club, "You'll Never Walk Alone".

PPTV announced the launch of this product during the extension of its media partnership with Liverpool FC, signed on 27/11/2015. The agreement, initiated on 11/02/2015, made PPTV the "video content" sponsor of the official Chinese website of LFC.

The TV includes a fully dedicated Liverpool FC interface with exclusive video content from LFC TV, the TV channel of the English club, as well as the latest club news, match summaries, and video stories of former greats, of the club like Steven Gerrard and Kenny Dalglish.

• The connected TV, PPTV 65T2, is sold in the Chinese market for the price of 11,999 yuan (£1,376 as of 30/05/2017).
• Liverpool FC were the first European club to launch a website in Chinese in July 2011.
