Schalke 04: "Kasino", new VIP lounge at the Veltins Arena

Schalke 04 (Bundesliga) have operated the "Kasino", a VIP lounge at the Veltins Arena (capacity: 60,000) during the Bundesliga fixture opposing Schalke to Bayer Leverkusen (2-0), on the 31/08/2013. The club created this new hospitality area for the beginning of the 2013/14 season.

The "Kasino" lounge is located on the top of the North Stand, Schalke supporters' curve. With a 80-seat capacity, the lounge offers the opportunity to dine at tables of three or four people. The service includes seats to watch the game, near the lounge.

Schalke 04 are expected to generate €418,000 from this new lounge for the 2013/14 Bundesliga season. The amount for the whole season is set at € 20,900 for four people.

The creation of this space cost over a million euros to the Gelsenkirchen club.
