Monitoring the betting market for suspicious betting is the objective of FIFA's (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) subsidiary "Early Warning System", which analysed the 649 qualifying matches for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, on the 05/09/2013.

Created by FIFA as part of its mission to safeguard the integrity of sport, on the 01/07/2007, "Early Warning System" has its offices in Zurich (Switzerland). As a representative of an international sports organization, the programme operates independently from the betting industry and is not for profit.

The company follows all the men's and women's competitions organized by FIFA. It has also been awarded the supervision of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing by the IOC (International Olympic Committee). A hotline is also available for everyone, especially the players, coaches and referees, who would want to report suspicious patterns.
