Parc OL: Olympique Lyonnais install LED lighting to hold "unparalleled light shows"

The existing lighting at the Parc OL (59,286 capacity) will be replaced by LED lighting, announced Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1) on 30/05/2017. More than 260 LED spotlights and 20 follow spotlights will be installed by the first matchday of the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama season on 05/08/2017.The complete installation of the sports LEDs, scenic, and stadium lights has been scheduled for September 2017.

"This technological innovation, already present with the previous version at the Juventus Stadium in Turin and the Johan-Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam among others, allows Parc OL to optimise its spectator experience and offers the fans unparalleled light shows at each event," said the Lyon based club.

The Dutch conglomerate Philips Lighting will be responsible for installing the LED lighting.
