UEFA: creates comprehensive bidding regulations for all club and national competitions

The UEFA Executive Committee has decided "to introduce comprehensive bidding regulations covering all UEFA competitions, both at club and national level, and for all age categories, thus ensuring fully open and transparent bidding processes," said UEFA at the end of its executive committee meeting in Cardiff, Wales on 01/06/2017.

This meeting was organised ahead of the Women's Champions League final, Olympique Lyonnais - Paris Saint-Germain (0-0, 7-6 on penalties), at the Cardiff City Stadium (33,000 capacity) on Thursday 01/06/2017. Two days later, in the same city, Juventus (Serie A TIM) face Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) at the Principality Stadium (formerly Millenium Stadium), in the final of the 2016-17 Champions League on Saturday 03/05/2017 (kick-off at 19:45 BST, 20:45 CET).
