Champions League: economic face-to-face of Juventus (ITA) - Real Madrid (ESP) ahead of 03/06/2017

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander), with €620.1m in 2015-16, posted a turnover 81% higher than Juventus (Serie A TIM), which generated €341.1m, according to figures from the 2017 Football Money League of the audit and consulting firm Deloitte. The two clubs meet at the Principality Stadium (formerly Millenium Stadium) in Cardiff (Wales) in the final of the 2016-17 Champions League on Saturday 03/06/2017 (kick-off at 19:45 BST, 20:45 CET).

The economic gap widened in favour of Real Madrid in 2015-16 compared to 2014-15, with Real's advantage at €253m (€576.9m versus €323.9m) in 2014-15 versus a gap of €279.1m in 2015-16. In terms of 2015-16 revenue, the Madrid club is third in Europe, behind Manchester United FC (€689m) and FC Barcelona (€620.2m), while Juventus are ranked 10th.

• The difference between Real Madrid (€161.54m) and Juventus (€70m) is greatest in commercial revenue, with a gap of €91.54m.
• Real Madrid's matchday revenue is also much higher than Juventus: €129m against €43.7m ( gap of €85.3m) in 2015-16, according to the 2017 Football Money League.
