Real Madrid: €520.9m turnover in 2012/13

Real Madrid finished the 2012/13 season with a net revenue of €520.9m, 1.3% up compared to the 2011/12 season (€514m), the club announced on the 06/09/2013.

This is the second consecutive season that Real Madrid have exceeded €500m turnover. Net income for the club stood at €36.9m in 2012/13, representing a 52.4% increase. The net debt of the club was reduced by €34.1m from €124.7m to €90.6m in 2012/13 (-27.4%).

In 2011/12, Real became the first club in any sport to exceed €500m annual turnover, ahead of FC Barcelona (€483m), according to a study by Deloitte, published in January 2013.

The validation of the accounts of Real Madrid must be submitted to the general meeting of the club socios on the 22/09/2013.
