Rugby: adidas extends kit sponsorship of New Zealand Rubgy for four more years (2020-2023)

The German sports equipment manufacturer adidas has extended its kit sponsorship with NZR (New Zealand Rugby) and as a main partner of the "All Blacks" for four more years (2020-2023), on 31/05/2017.

adidas has been the "All Blacks" kit supplier since 1999. The amount of the current deal, which runs until 2019, is estimated at €10m a year. This is a record for a national rugby union team.

The agreement also makes adidas the partner of all New Zealand national rugby teams (U-20, women's team, men's and women's rugby 7s, and Maori All Blacks - a selection of New Zealanders of Maori origin). The equipment maker will also "help fund community rugby activities across the country."

• The matches of the British Lions trip to New Zealand, to face the "All Blacks" at the "DHL Lions Series", will be on 24/06, 01/07, and 08/07/2017.
