Facebook: Top 100 European clubs with the most fans (June 2017)

With 102.95 million fans, Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) are the most followed European club most on Facebook, according to data compiled by News Tank Football, establishing the Top 100 of the most popular European clubs on this social network as of 01/06/2017.

In May 2017, FC Bayern Munich became the fifth club to exceed 42 million fans on Facebook (from 41,916,800 to 42,209,289). Bayern Munich gained 292,489 fans during the month of May, the seventh best gross increase in the European Top 100.

Three Instanbul-based Turkish clubs, Galatasaray SK (14^th, 13.24 million), Fenerbahçe SK (15^th, 9.8 million) and Besiktaş JK (20^th, 6.06 million) are the only ones in the Top 20 not from one of the European Top 5 leagues.

12 European clubs have more than 14 million fans on Facebook, 35 exceed the 2 million mark, 51 have more than one million, and 68 clubs have more than 500,000 fans.
