France: France - Paraguay friendly match draws 3.12 million viewers on TMC (audience share: 13.6%)

The France - Paraguay (5-0) friendly match at Roazhon Park in Rennes (FRA) drew 3.128 million viewers on average in France on TMC, a French private, free DTT channel, on Friday 02/06/2017 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), according to the French institute of audience measurement Médiamétrie.

This represented an audience share of 13.6% for the channel of the TF1 group, which ranked third in the French television market for the day of 02/06/2017.

This is the first time that TF1, which holds the broadcast rights to matches of the French national team from September 2014 until the 2018 World Cup for €140m (€3.5m per game) acquired on 21/12/2013, chose to broadcast a game of the national team on DTT.
