France: Amaury Media appoints Kevin Benharrats as CEO and director of brand diversification

The Frenchman Kevin Benharrats, 52 years old, has joined the French group L'Equipe as the CEO of Amaury Media, its advertising agency, said the media group on 06/06/2017. Attached to Cyril Linette, the CEO of L'Équipe and President of Amaury Media, he will also serve as director of brand diversification and "whose main mission will be to develop the value of L'Equipe on all media platforms and to steer the diversification of the group's brands."

Kevin Benharrats was the president of NRJ Group's business and digital development activities since 2014, where he "handled the group's digital strategy, developed and optimised the sale of advertising space, and diversified the group's activities outside of media," said L'Equipe. He had previously worked with media groups Prisma Presse, IP France, and Lagardère Active.
