Facebook: 78.35 million fans in total for the 20 Serie A TIM clubs (June 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2016-17 Serie A TIM season have cumulative 78.35 million fans on the social network Facebook, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/06/2017. The Serie A TIM is the third most popular European Top 5 league on Facebook, behind the Premier League and LaLiga Santander, with 3.91 million fans on average per club.

Juventus are the most followed Italian club, with 28.18 million fans, an increase of 2,244,024 (+8.7%) compared to May 2017. No Serie A club drew more fans than Juve, the 2016-17 Italian league champions and finalist of the 2016-17 Champions League, in the last month.

At 14.4% (from 101,522 to 116,006), FC Crotone are the Serie A TIM club that registered the highest percentage growth on Facebook in May 2017. 13 Serie A TIM clubs drew fewer than 5,000 new fans in May, during which Fiorentina (-128), SSC Napoli (-999), and AC Milan (-17,855), lost Facebook fans.
