UEFA country coefficient: France ranked 4th for the 2016-17 season, highest since 2003-04
"As a result of the success their clubs achieved in the two major European competitions (Champions League and Europa League), France have reached the best ranking (member association, or "country", coefficient ranking) since 2003-04," said UEFA on 06/06/2017.
