Rugby: Newcastle Falcons - Saracens, second English Premiership rugby match in the USA on 16/09/2017

Newcastle Falcons - Saracens will be the second English Premiership rugby match involving teams of the Aviva Premiership to be played in the United States, announced Premiership Rugby on 17/05/2017. The match will take place at Philadelphia's Talen Energy Stadium (18,500 capacity), home of the MLS club Philadelphia Union, on Saturday 16/09/2017.

"The League match will be staged by Premiership Rugby as part of a new four-year agreement with AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group), the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, and in conjunction with NBC Sports (TV rights holder for the English rugby competition in the US, see below)," said Premiership Rugby.

The Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, home of the New York Red Bulls (MLS), hosted the Aviva Premiership match between Saracens - London Irish (26-16) on 12/03/2016. 14,811 spectators attended the game at the 25,000 capacity stadium. Average fill rate of 59.2%.
