Election of the new executive committee of the European Club Association, on the 10/09/2013

The General Assembly of the ECA (European Club Association) takes place on the 09 and 10/09/2013 in Geneva (Switzerland). The election of the Executive Committee of the ECA will be at the agenda of the 11^th general assembly. The elected members of the Executive Committee will be appointed for a two-year period, until 2015.

The newly elected will join the four current members of the executive committee who represent ECA in UEFA's Professional Football Strategy Council. These four members are Umberto Gandini (AC Milan), Ivan Gazidis (Arsenal FC), Sandro Rosell (FC Barcelona) and Evgeni Giner (CSKA Moscow).

ECA is an independent body directly representing football clubs at a European scale. Established in January 2008, the organization that replaced the G14 serves as a representative, but also as an advisor on football, both on sporting and entrepreneurial aspects.

ECA has 214 members from 53 European federations, on the 10/09/2013.
