Jupiler Pro League: New Balance succeeds Kappa as the kit supplier of Standard de Liège

The American sports equipment manufacturer New Balance has succeeded the Italian sportswear brand Kappa as the kit supplier of Standard de Liège (Jupiler Pro League) from 2017-18, announced the club on 08/06/2017. Kappa was the club's kit supplier since 2015-16.

As part of this partnership, "the American sports brand will provide the matchday shirt, training wear, and sports equipment," said the Belgian club. Standard de Liège and New Balance will present the new shirt and the sports equipment of the club for the 2017-18 season on Thursday, 29/06/2017.

"The Royer Group is delighted with the partnership between New Balance and Standard de Liège, our first partnership in the Benelux, and we are delighted to have chosen this prestigious club with a rich history in Belgium. We hope to write a new chapter together adding to the great history of the club," said Jacques Royer, the CEO of Royer Group, the distributors of New Balance in Belgium.
