Arsenal FC (Premier League) will offer young people aged 16 to 18 a two-year training course in order to obtain a local BTEC level 3 diploma ('A' Levels) in sports, development coaching, and fitness, announced the club on 05/06/2017. This initiative will be driven by "Arsenal in the Community", the club's social community association since 1985.

Participants will be trained at the Arsenal Hub by the Emirates Stadium (60,260 capacity) and will be helped during further education and employment. "The programme - which starts in September 2017 - will teach students the key elements of community sports coaching, with a particular focus on football," said the club.

At the end of this course, "trainees will also receive coaching experience and will be mentored towards FA Level 1 and 2 coaching badges," added North London club.
