Karen Bradley has been reappointed as the minister of culture, media, and sports, to the new government of Theresa May, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, on 11/06/2017. Karen Bradley has held this position since 14/07/2016.

The new government was formed following the early parliamentary elections on 08/06/2017, in which Karen Bradley was re-elected to the House of Commons as a Conservative representative of the Staffordshire Moorlands district, south of Manchester (ENG), which she has been occupying since 06/05/2010.

During her first year as minister, Karen Bradley finalised and implemented BBC's new Charter which commenced on 01/01/2017. She also referred the purchase of the British audiovisual group Sky by US media conglomerate 21st Century Fox to the media watchdog Ofcom and the UK Competition and Markets Authority in March 2017.
