Australia: IMG acquires FFA's international media rights for the 2017-2023 period

IMG has acquired the international media rights to the Hyundai A-League for six seasons, the 2017-2023 period, the media rights and marketing agency announced on 19/06/2017. The new "multimillion dollar" agreement also includes the right to market the Westfield W-League, the Westfield FFA Cup, and selected matches of the Australian men's team ("Caltex Socceroos" ) and the women's team ("Westfield Matildas").

"Australian football has never been seen by more people around the world. This deal with IMG provides more funds to invest in the game and will help to enhance the reputation of the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League, and our national teams around the world," said David Gallop, CEO of the FFA, on 19/06/2017.
