Premier League: Liverpool FC manager Jürgen Klopp extends Opel's football ambassador role

Jürgen Klopp, the German manager of Liverpool FC (Premier League), has extended his role as the football ambassador for Opel "for a long time", said the German car brand on 13/06/2017. Opel joined the PSA group in March 2017 and Jürgen Klopp have been a part of Opel since August 2012.

Since the beginning of the partnership, the Liverpool manager has appeared in 17 television commercials of the brand and participated in several activations organised by Opel.

As part of this extension, Jürgen Klopp spoke at the "OPELxWIRED future.mobility" conference on the evolution of the automobile sector, organised at the Opel headquarters in Rüsselsheim am Main. The German manager notably introduced the new car model Opel Insignia Grand Sport.
