Japanese car manufacturer Toyota has acquires the naming rights to the stadium of FC Dallas, playing in MLS (Major League Soccer), the franchise announced on the 10/09/2013. The stadium (20,500 seats) is now called the Toyota Stadium and the club's training center has been renamed as Toyota Football Center.

FC Dallas were looking for a naming partner since the 08/01/2012, when Pizza Hut company had terminated its naming contract. The 20-year agreement only last for six seasons. The stadium was then called Pizza Hut Park for €750,000 per year.

The soccer franchise has searched for a naming partner for 18 months, a problem the American football franchise of the Texas city also faced. The Dallas Cowboys have signed a partnership with U.S. mobile operator AT & T on the 26/07/2013, after having tried to sell the naming of their 80,000-seat stadium for four years. The multi-year agreement provides an estimate €12.7m to €14,3m per season to the Cowboys, making it the largest naming contract in the NFL (National Football League).
