NBA: Walt Disney World Resort (attraction park) to sponsor the Orlando Magic jersey for 2017-2020

Walt Disney World Resort (Orlando, Florida) has expanded its partnership with the Orlando Magic and will become the jersey sponsor to the NBA franchise from the 2017-18 season on 20/06/2017. It will be a commitment of three seasons (2017-2020), the maximum duration of the experimental programme of a jersey sponsorship, launched by the NBA on 15/04/2016, from the season 2017-18.

Disney has been a "Champion of Community" partner of Orlando Magic since 2010 and is supporting the local community of Central Florida with the basketball franchise.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, the Disney logo will appear on a patch to be located on the left pectoral of the Orlando Magic jersey. Disney will also expand its presence at the Amway Center (18,500 capacity) with special hospitalities and seats.

The Orlando Magic thus become the seventh NBA franchise to conclude a jersey sponsorship partnership. The franchise Minnesota Timberwolves became the eighth, signing a jersey sponsorship agreement with the American electronics company Fitbit (2017-2020), also on 20/06/2017.
