The OTT streaming service FuboTV has raised $55m (€49.1m) from the US media conglomerate 21st Century Fox, British pay-TV group Sky, and the US media group Scripps Networks Interactive on 19/06/2017. 21st Century Fox and Sky were already part of FuboTV's second fundraiser ($15M) on 09/03/2016.

"Fubo is at the apex of capturing a fundamental shift in consumer behaviour. Just like we saw as early investors in Spotify within the music business, this will be potentially an even bigger game changer as television consumption moves online to mobile devices, computers, and TV apps. Sports represents prime real estate in the television market, with a massive and engaged audience share, and Fubo has already achieved market-leading coverage of the best live sports content," said Pär-Jörgen Pärson, a partner of the venture capital fund Northzone, who joined the board of directors of FuboTV on 19/06/2017.
