2016-17 Ligue 1: distribution of TV rights, PSG receive largest share (€57m)

Paris Saint-Germain, 2016-17 French league runners-up, had received the largest share of audiovisual revenue, paid by the Ligue 1 to the 20 clubs of the 2016-17 season, with €57m, according to the daily French newspaper L'Equipe on 23/06/2017. AS Monaco, 2016-17 Ligue 1 champions, are only fourth with €41.9m behind Olympique Lyonnais (€47.2m) and Olympique de Marseille (€47m) respectively who finished fourth and fifth in the final rankings of the 2016-17 Ligue 1. OGC Nice, 3rd in the final rankings, had received around €34m. AS Nancy-Lorraine, 19th in the final ranking, were the club that received the least TV rights share with €15.5m for the 2016-17 season.

The three relegated clubs will also receive relegation aid: €7m for FC Lorient, €4m for SC Bastia, and €3.75m for AS Nancy-Lorraine. For the first time, an additional €566,000 each were distributed to 15 of the 20 non-European teams in Ligue 1.
