NFL: New York Jets to sell first random seat location subscription

The New York Jets (NFL) will offer the first mobile subscription service with random seat location for each pre-season and 2017 regular season home games, on 15/06/2017.

The Jets Boarding Pass (or "Boarding Pass") which is priced at $725 (€650 to 20/06/2017) will allow fans to attend all 10 home games (preseason and regular season) of the franchise and to be at different seat locations at the MetLife Stadium (82,500 capacity) at each game. The franchise has developed this offer with its partner JetBlue Airlines (US airline).

"We are always looking for new ways for our fans to experience game day, and we also pay very close attention to trends in the industry and in the market. As consumer preferences are shifting towards mobile transactions, we wanted to provide Jets fans with a unique and convenient way to attend Jets games, and we think the Boarding Pass addresses that," said Neil Glat, president of the New York Jets, on 15/06/2017.
