Blizzard Entertainment has signed an agreement with Twitch, a social video streaming platform, who are dedicated to "broadcast more than 20 major eSport Blizzard events until the end of 2018," said the North American game and content development company on 20/06/2017.

The first part of the agreement gives Twitch the rights to broadcast eSport events organised by Blizzard until the end of 2018, including the Heroes of the Storm Global Championships, StarCraft II World Championship Series (WCS, Battle Arena Game), Hearthstone Championship Tour (HCT, Collectible Card Game), Hearthstone Global Games, World of Warcraft Arena Championship, Overwatch Apex League, and Overwatch Premier Series.

The second part of the agreement includes providing special content in the Overwatch, Hearthstone, and Heroes of the Storm games for Twitch Prime subscribers, the premium service from Twitch.
