"It is very important for us to create a welcome atmosphere to foreign investors, and open the channels of communications, especially with us at the league. We have to see foreign investment as an opportunity," stated DIdier Quillot, CEO of the LFP, at the first day of the Première Ligue Convention of French professional football in Cannes (FRA) on 27/06/2016.

Didier Quillot and François de Breteuil, an associate of Rothschild Global Advisory - an international bank which advised on the recent transactions concerning AC Milan and Olympique de Marseille - participated in a round table titled "Foreign Investors: What opportunities for French Football", at the Première Ligue Convention of French professional football alongside Frank H. McCourt, owner of Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Conforama); Jean-Michel Aulas, president of Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Conforama); and Xing Hu, CEO of Beijing OL FC Ltd.
