United States: Fox Sports to broadcast 20 UEFA Champions League matches via Facebook for 2017-18

Fox Sports has signed a partnership with the social network Facebook for the broadcast of the Champions League matches in the United States via the live video streaming service Facebook Live, announced the American pay-TV group on 27/06/2017.

"FOX Sports will stream UEFA Champions League matches in the United States on the FOX Sports Facebook Page, and in Spanish on the FOX Deportes Facebook Page, beginning in September during group stage competition. The partnership is a first of its kind and includes two live matches per match day in the group stage, four round of 16 matches, and four quarterfinal matches. Some matches will be exclusive to Facebook and FOX Sports GO, while others will be simulcast on television. Half of these matches will be exhibited in English, while the other half will be exhibited in Spanish," said Fox Sports.
