2017 Arab Championship: Twitter and Sela Sport sign partnership to broadcast in MENA

The sports marketing agency Sela Sport and Twitter have signed a partnership to broadcast the 2017 Arab Championship, organised in Egypt from 21/07 to 05/08/2017, via the social network, said the two entities on 22/06/2017. The partnership will be the first live streaming deal for football on the micro-blogging platform with a partner in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

"The matches, streamed in Arabic, will be available globally on @UAFAAC, AC.twitter.com, and the Twitter App on connected devices. As part of the deal, the @UAFAAC Twitter account will also Tweet exclusive behind the scenes live videos, some of which will be broadcast in 360 degrees, as well as sum up key events through Twitter Moments, which are a collection of curated Tweets. The live streams will also include opportunities for advertisers, including packages with television style pre-roll and mid-roll spots, combined with original and live clips produced by Sela Sport, available for sponsorship and promotion on Twitter," said Sela Sport.
