Premier League: Ope Sports (betting) becomes main shirt sponsor of Huddersfield Town from 2017-18

Ope Sports, a sports betting and online gambling operator registered in Malta and active in the Asian market, has become the main shirt sponsor of Huddersfield Town AFC (Premier League) from 2017-18, announced the English club on 30/06/2017. It will be a multi-year partnership, the exact duration of which was not announced.

The agreement with Ope Sports was reached via the UK's sports marketing agency SportQuake. "In the biggest deal of its kind for the club, the logo of Ope Sports will feature across the club's shirt at all home and away games, pitch side LED and other branding at the stadium (John Smith's Stadium, 24,500 capacity) as well as across online and social media channels in the UK and internationally," said the club.

"The partnership with Ope Sports will enable Huddersfield Town to engage with a wider global audience and grow an international fan base while giving exposure in the most watched league in the world," added The Terriers.
