Tottenham Hotspur FC: Nike succeeds Under Armour as the kit supplier from 2017-18

The American sports equipment brand Nike and Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League) have formalised their kit supplier partnership on 30/06/2017. This partnership will begin from the 2017-18 season and will extend "over several years," said the London club.

The contract would cover an initial period of five seasons (2017-2022) and the annual fixed amount is estimated between £25m and £30m (between €28.5m and €34.2m as of 30/06/2017), according to British media. This will represent at least a 2.5 times increase over the Under Armour deal with Tottenham during each season for the 2012-2017 period (£10m/€11.4m).

As part of the agreement, Nike will provide sporting and lifestyle wear for the men's and women's first teams, as well as for the club's academy teams and representatives of the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.

• Nike will have four clubs under contract for the 2017-18 Premier League season: Manchester City FC, Chelsea FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC, and Brighton & Hove Albion FC.
