LaLiga Santander: cumulative TV audience of 174.98 million viewers for the 2016-17 season

At least 174.98 million TV viewers in Spain watched the games of the 2016-17 LaLiga Santander (149.8 million subscribers on the pay-TV channels of Telefonica and the beIN Media Group / Mediapro, and 25.6 million viewers on the free-TV channel Gol), according to data collected by News Tank Football.

The best TV audience of the season was for the second "El Clasico" of the season, Real Madrid CF - FC Barcelona (2-3) which drew 2.56 million subscribers on average on the pay-TV channel Movistar Partidazo on Sunday, 23/04/2017 (kick-off at 20:45 CET). Audience share: 16.7%. The first "El Clasico", FC Barcelona - Real Madrid (1-1), drew 2.214 million subscribers on average on the pay-TV channel beIN LaLiga on Saturday, 03/12/2016 (16:15), for an audience share of 17.3%. On free-TV, Real Betis Balompié - Real Sociedad (2-3), which drew 1.151 million viewers on Gol on Friday, 03/03/2017 (20:45 CET), was the best TV audience of the season on this channel.
