European cups: UEFA launches tender for TV rights for 2018-2021 in Middle East / North Africa

UEFA has launched the tender, for the MENA region, for the broadcast rights to the Champions League and the Europa League for the 2018-2021 period, announced the European governing body on 30/06/2017.

Candidates must submit their bids no later than 17/07/2017. The pay-TV group beIN Media Group is the holder of the media rights for the Middle East and North Africa region for the 2015-2018 period, acquired on 09/09/2013.

2018-2021 Champions League: the tender managed by Team Marketing

• UEFA had published the tender document for the media rights to the Champions League and the Europa League for the 2018-2021 cycle on 12/12/2016.
  • "The process started with China on 13/12/2016 and Japan on 14/12/2016," said UEFA.
