Bundesliga and BBL: Siemens (technology) "performance partner" of FC Bayern Munich until 2020

Siemens, a German technology group, is extending and expanding its partnership with FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) for three seasons (2017-2020) by becoming a "performance partner" of the Bavarian club, on 03/07/2017. Siemens AG now has the status of platinum partner (2^nd level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the club) and will pay Bayern an annual allocation of more than €5m, according to German media. Siemens Hausgeräte, a subsidiary of the group dedicated to domestic equipment, had been an official partner (4^th level) of the club since at least the 2014-15 season.

Siemens already supplies several solutions to the Allianz Arena (75,000 capacity) and the Audi Dome (6,700 capacity). As of 2017-18, the German group will provide Allianz Arena, the Audi Dome and the Säbener Strasse facilities (training centre and club offices), cloud software and other services, electrical engineering, building technology, safety and security, as well as intelligent mobility for local public transport and flow management systems.
