Cycling: the EBU extends its broadcast agreement with Amaury Sport Organisation from 2020-2023

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has extended its broadcast agreement with the sporting events organiser Amaury Sport Organisation for four more seasons (2020-2023), on 01/07/2017. This agreement will cover the Tour de France and the other cycling events in the ASO portfolio: Paris-Roubaix, Flèche Wallonne, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Paris-Nice, Critérium du Dauphiné, Paris-Tours, and Eschborn-Frankfurt. The previous agreement between the EBU and ASO, which also covered four seasons (2016-2019), was signed on 09/09/2013.

"A wide audience in almost 60 countries will enjoy exceptional coverage of the races thanks to free-to-air TV channels in Belgium (RTBF, VRT), the Netherlands (NOS), Switzerland (SRF, RTS, TSI), the UK and Ireland (ITV), Spain (TVE), Italy (RAI), Denmark (TV2), Norway (TV2), Luxembourg (RTL), Portugal (RTP), Slovakia (RTVS), Slovenia (RTVSLO), and on the Eurosport channels, throughout Europe," said the alliance of European media service organisations.
