Facebook: 80.16 million fans in total for the 20 Serie A TIM clubs (July 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2017-18 Serie A TIM season have a cumulative 80.16 million fans on the social network Facebook, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/07/2017. The Serie A TIM is the third most popular European Top 5 league on Facebook, behind the Premier League and LaLiga Santander, with 4 million fans on average per club.

Juventus are the most followed Italian club, with 30.14 million fans, an increase of 1,955,434 (+6.9%) compared to June 2017. No Serie A club drew more fans in the last month than Juve, the 2016-17 Italian league champions and finalist of the 2016-17 Champions League.

At 77.6% (from 26,055 to 46,274), Benevento Calcio, the last club from Serie B ConTe.It to be promoted to the first division, are the Serie A TIM club that registered the highest percentage growth on Facebook in June 2017. 12 Serie A TIM clubs drew fewer than 3,000 new fans in June, during which Fiorentina (-946), SSC Napoli (-2,783), and AC Milan (-3,480), lost Facebook fans.
