Soccerex: Global Convention moved to Maracana in Rio de Janeiro, from the 30/11 to the 05/12/2013

The 2013 edition of the Global Convention, organised by Soccerex will be held at Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro, the organisation announced on the 13/09/2013. Originally scheduled from the 23/11 to the 27/11/2013 in a hotel in Copacabana, the meeting was also postponed, and will take place from the 30/11 to the 05/12/2013. The final of the 2014 World Cup will be played at the Maracana stadium, on the 13/07/2014. After the global Convention, the draw for the final round of the 2014 World Cup is scheduled in Costa do Sauipe (Bahia region), on the 06/12/2013.

The 2013 Global Convention will gather 4,500 decision makers and professionals from international football world. Its purpose is to discover new trends in the sector and to develop commercial activities. The event also aims at developing contacts of organisations operating in Brazil, host of the XXth 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The price for this event is 795 pounds (aroundt 950 euros) for four days.
