UEFA: an online tool to share information on security issues in stadiums

UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) has presented an online tool to exchange information on security issues in stadiums, at the "Stadium and Security" conference, co-organized by UEFA and European Union in Warsaw (Poland), on the 11/09/2013.

Created by UEFA, the Council of Europe and EU's pan-European program on security and safety, the SSET (Stadium and Security Expert Tool) allows to access content (advice, expertise, good practices) with videos, documents, presentations, pictures, and sounds.

SSET Online is accessible to members of national associations, club leaders, representatives of local authorities and police and emergency services involved in the organisation of European matches.

  • Co-organized by UEFA and the European Union, the Stadiums and Security Conference brings together:
    • representatives of European police and government agencies
    • UEFA security officers
    • National Federations
    • clubs involved in the Champions League and Europa League
    • national specialised services in the fight against hooliganism
    • stadium owners
