The 10 stables of the 2017 Formula 1 World Championship have a cumulative total of 10.3 million followers on the social network Twitter, as of 01/07/2017. The follower base of these teams grew by 101,144 (+1.0%) during the month of June 2017.

Red Bull Racing (+23,480 followers) and Scuderia Ferrari (+20,607 followers) posted the highest increase in absolute terms compared to the previous data. In percentage terms, Red Bull (+1.3%) was ahead of Ferrari (+1.2%). Mercedes-AMG F1 are the stable with the most Twitter followers with 1.83 million. Red Bull are second (1.81 million followers) and Ferrari are third (1.8 million), on 01/07/2017.

The 10 teams have a cumulative 31.9 million fans on the social network Facebook as of 01/07/2017, 3.1 times more than the cumulative Twitter follower base. As on Twitter, the most "liked" team on Facebook is Mercedes-AMG F1 with 11.1 million fans. However, Mercedes-AMG F1 posted a decline of 4,646 fans during the month of June 2017.
