UK: Sky to offer 10 sports channels instead of eight for the same price, from 18/07/2017

Sky has redesigned its sports offer by providing 10 channels instead of eight from 18/07/2017, five of which are dedicated to one competition or one sport (see details below), announced the British pay-TV group on 07/10/2017. This new offer, available at the same price as the old one for SkyTV customers (£27.50 per month, or about €31.10), "will remain frozen for 12 months."

"Existing customers will receive the new Sky Sports package automatically and the new channels will replace the existing line-up. NowTV customers will be able to purchase the new Sky Sports line-up at no additional cost. Virgin Media and TalkTalk customers will also benefit from the channel changes. The new line-up offers flexibility to subscribe to individual channel packages at a new price. One channel pack will be available for just £18 (€20.20) per month, two for £22 (€24.70), and three for £26 (€29.20)," said Sky.
